About Me

Mumsey: Tirau, Waikato, New Zealand; Welcome to my blog. I am a 67 year old wife,(of 46 years to Harry), mother to 5 and Nana to 8. I live in a small rural town in the South Waikato, New Zealand. I am a Christian and my faith is central in my life. I was a SAHM for 20 years until our youngest was five and then in our later years family circumstances meant I had to work part-time for 20 years to contribute to our income. I have now retired from my part-time work in our church office. I am a member if the Tirau Community Board which is paid employment, and a JP, the only one in the town I live. Home-making has always been an important part of who I am. Sometimes things are hard but with God I always come through. Be encouraged as I share.
